Flaneuse:Archives of Gender Studies

In the past, women hardly appeared in the history books, and most historical discussions focused on the male perspective. However, women are not limited life experience, but female perspective is also a point of view and possibility.
From this perspective, we can re-observe history and society, and listen to women's voices and achievements that are often not heard.
Through reading, conversation and question and answer, readers are invited to enter the world of female theory in another relaxed way, trying to break the boundary between academic and artistic books.
The concept of "pocket" is used in the shape design to break the form of literature as a high, locked in the archives, or as some kind of collection edition, which can only be read by privileged intellectuals or elites.
It's more fluid, it's easier to spread.

The concept of "Wandering Woman: Wandering in Paris, New York, Tokyo, Venice and London" by Lauren Elgin was cited as the main name of the design. Lauren Elgin began to be interested in walking women when she was in college and tried to create the word "flaneuse", which formed a duality contrast with "flaneuse", but was opposed by most people. While the image of "wanderer" has become a favorite image in the works of Baudelaire, Benjamin and Allan POE, and is studied and aesthetically regarded as a symbol of modernity, female wanderer has been neglected for a long time in literature, history and theoretical studies.

If walking is also a way of reading and understanding, what is the archival world of women, and how do they discover and shape themselves in it?

Under the diffuse patriarchal culture, how do women practice equality, freedom and love in their concrete life, and how do men get rid of the inherent shackles and reflect on themselves?

Inside pages and envelopes are designed with reference to the form of text information collected by the Archives Administration. Manuscripts, correspondence and informal documents are included as information materials, providing a unique perspective on history, society and social mores, as well as a changing view of sex and sexual culture.

With the open literature world as the cultural accumulation, it aims to bring the audience "experimental exploration towards gender space and thinking".
